Terms of Service

1. Acceptance and age requirement

By downloading, accessing, or using Meloop, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. Meloop is not intended for minors.

2. The Meloop experience

Meloop is an entertainment application featuring fictional characters, AI-generated conversations, voice playback, image interaction, virtual gifts, relationship progression, skins, coins, and membership benefits.

AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, inconsistent, unexpected, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. It does not represent a human relationship and must not be treated as medical, mental health, legal, financial, or other professional advice. You remain responsible for your decisions and for independently verifying important information.

3. Responsible use

You agree not to use Meloop to:

• Violate applicable law or the rights of another person.
• Create, upload, or request unlawful, exploitative, threatening, or abusive content.
• Attempt to bypass security, payment, eligibility, usage-limit, or content-safety controls.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, disrupt, or interfere with the app or its supporting services, except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Misrepresent AI-generated content as a verified statement from a real person.

We may restrict access to features where reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, third-party providers, or legal compliance.

4. Virtual coins and in-app purchases

Meloop may provide or sell virtual coins for use with eligible in-app features, including character messages, image interactions, gifts, and skins. Coins are a limited, personal license within Meloop. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and cannot be exchanged for money or property outside the app.

Coin prices and package contents are shown before purchase. Purchases are processed through Google Play and are subject to the payment terms, refund rules, and consumer protections that apply in your location. Except where required by law or Google Play policy, spent coins are not refundable.

We may adjust future coin prices, rewards, spending requirements, or promotional offers. Any change will not reduce the coin balance already displayed on your device unless needed to correct fraud, duplication, or a technical error.

6. Google Play billing

Prices, taxes, payment methods, authorizations, receipts, and eligible refunds are handled through Google Play. A recurring subscription continues according to the terms shown by Google Play until it is canceled. Uninstalling Meloop does not cancel a recurring subscription.

You can manage eligible recurring subscriptions through Google Play subscriptions. Additional details appear in our Membership Agreement.

7. Privacy and AI processing

Our Privacy Policy explains what remains on your device and what is sent when you choose to use AI chat, image understanding, or character voice. Using one of these features initiates the processing described in that Policy.

8. Ownership and limited license

Meloop, including its software, visual design, characters, artwork, text, audio, logos, and other content, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial entertainment.

You retain rights you hold in content you choose to provide. You grant us and the third-party processors described in the Privacy Policy only the limited permission necessary to operate the requested feature.

9. Availability, updates, and changes

We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of Meloop. Character availability, models, voice options, prices, reward amounts, and feature limits may change. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability, especially where a feature depends on Google Play, a device service, network access, or a third-party AI provider.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the app at any time. We may limit or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, create legal or security risk, misuse paid features, or interfere with the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, and limitations—will remain in effect.

11. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meloop is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunity arising from the use of Meloop. Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

13. Applicable law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws that apply to the service and to you, without depriving you of mandatory consumer protections available in your place of residence. Before starting a formal claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. The updated version will display a revised effective date. Continued use after the revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
